And they certainly do not know the Netherlands well enough to understand your starting point.
That is what I am here for. I am a private travel planner based in the Netherlands, working in English with internationals of all nationalities. I understand expat life here and I know what good travel planning actually looks like for people like you.

Off the Beaten Path
Between the famous sights lies the country where people actually live. Villages without souvenir stalls, roads without tour coaches, inns where the menu has never been translated. You do not find these places by following the usual route, but by taking a turning that appears on no recommended list. I put together a journey that brings both together: the places you want to have seen, and the ones you never knew existed.
Winter Adventures
From chasing the northern lights out of a heated glass igloo to sleigh rides through arctic wilderness: winter journeys offer experiences no other season can. I put together a tailor made journey through the Nordic countries or into the Arctic, one that brings nature, wonder and pure luxury into balance.
Sailing Voyages
When the sails are set and the engine falls silent, one sound remains, the one people have known for thousands of years: wind in canvas, water along the hull. The ship follows the wind, the route follows the weather, and what is left is time. Time for the coast slipping slowly past, for evenings on deck, for bays that stay closed to larger ships. It is the oldest way to travel and still, perhaps, the finest. I find you the ship and the route that suit you.

Extraordinary Cruises
Some places are almost impossible to reach by land: the Spice Islands of Indonesia, the atolls of the South Pacific, coastlines with no road and no airport. A small ship takes you there and is your home along the way. You unpack once and wake up somewhere new each morning. Whether an expedition into remote island worlds or unhurried days in the Caribbean, I find you the ship that suits you.
